What is JudaicaDoc?

JudaicaDoc is a publication service of the FID Jewish Studies open to researchers in the fields of Jewish and Israel Studies.

We encourage scholars in Jewish and Israel Studies to self-archive their publications via JudaicaDoc and make them available as open access. We are also inviting research institutions and publishing houses to use JudaicaDoc to serve the academic community.

ℹ️ Important information

  • When uploading your publication to JudaicaDoc, you can choose the type of licence you want. Your publication will be catalogued and indexed according to library standards and will as well be listed as online publication by the German National Library (DNB).
  • We have integrated the relevant publications of MENAdoc - a service of the FID Middle East, North Africa and Islamic Studies - into our catalogue, enabling researchers to access a wide range of freely available publications in Israel Studies and Jewish History and Culture in the MENA region
  • JudaicaDoc as a publication service in Jewish Studies and Israel Studies is part of the infrastructure of the University Library Frankfurt am Main. For more information see the FAQ of the Publication Server (in German).
